Looking Young From Head to Toe

Women invest a lot of time, energy and money hiding laugh lines, wrinkles and age spots. But all the best lotions in the world won’t make you look younger if you aren’t willing to act the part.
I’m not implying that women should start clubbing or acting like foolish teenagers, but you can dress like you would fit in at any hot spot.
The way we dress is a reflection of our character, status and our age – or at least, our state of mind about our age. Wearing loose or baggy clothing doesn’t show off your natural assets. In fact, it makes you look frumpy, and – well, old.
The younger generation knows how to flaunt what they’ve got. At some point in the aging process, our mind notices things are not as firm as they once were. We develop a need to hide what we feel are our flaws. When it comes to wardrobe, looking younger means dressing to enhance your assets, not hide them.
If you have great cleavage, don’t shy away from v-necks. You may not be daring enough to wear a plunging neckline, but that doesn’t mean you need to spend your days in turtlenecks. The myth about mini-skirts being exclusive to women in their twenties is shattered by firm legged forty-something ladies.
Exercise and eating properly will keep you feeling and looking younger. Not only will it put a glow in your skin and colour in your cheeks, but it will also give you longevity. Feeling drawn out and tired is often a result of a lack of physical activity, combined with a fatty or sugary diet. However, a little exercise and healthy snack choices will give you the energy of youth.
While some women feel they must mask their age with make-up, too much will age your face. Make-up can often draw attention to fine lines and other imperfections. Instead, keep it simple. A little eyeliner and mascara, gloss or balm to add shine to the lips instead of lipstick and so on. As we grow older, less really is more.
Age is really a state of mind, so the way you appear to the world has a lot to do with the way you feel about yourself. People who feel good tend to smile more, laugh more and walk tall. So don’t be afraid to put your young self out there.
